AFOA Manitoba’s upcoming workshop Learning Payroll 2.
The workshop introduces payroll concepts to those who may be new to their positions and provides an opportunity as a refresher for others. The workshop is facilitated by the National Payroll Institute.
We held Learning Payroll 1 workshop on August 2nd and attendance to Learning Payroll 2 is not contingent on having attended Learning Payroll 1.
Learning Payroll 2 is a one-day workshop and builds on the knowledge gained from Learning Payroll 1 and explores more complex processes and government requirements. Interactive and exercise-based, this workshop covers the fundamentals of irregular payments, government remittance and reporting, along with basic termination information, and how to complete the ROE.
Beyond the learning opportunity, attending Learning Payroll 2 is a chance to network with other professionals and learn from best practice examples. Valuable take-home materials include exercises and Learning Payroll 2 learning materials.
Attached for your review and consideration are workshop registration form and workshop information for Learning Payroll 2. The workshop is being held at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre in Winnipeg.
