Leadership & Administrators Conference – October 11 & 12, 2023

This email is to inform your community or your organization of AFOA Manitoba’s 9th Annual Leadership and Administrators Conference “Building Our Community of Professionals” to be held on October 11 & 12, 2023 in Winnipeg at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre.
Please find attached for your review and consideration conference agenda draft and conference registration form. The conference agenda will cover topics for Leadership, Managers, Administrators and Technical Staff.
Accommodations are based on availability at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre. Please email Rushi Patel, Assistant General Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org and please quote AFOA Manitoba group code 288864 as we have a number of rooms blocked for conference.
NOTE: CAFMs, CAPAs, CILs, CIHRPs: As an AFOA Canada Certified Member, it is an annual requirement to remit 20 hours of professional development hours each year no later than March 31 in the following three categories: A) Continuing Education B) Leadership/Volunteer Work and C) Instruction. You can use these workshops to claim MOC hours under A) Continuing Education.
All participants are required to follow provincial COVID-19 guidelines.
