Human Resource Management Essentials Workshops

Mar 22, 2022

On February 18, 2020 we held HRME: Module 1 – Professional Practice workshop with the intent of hosting Modules 2 to 5 later in year but as we all know in March 2020 that’s when COVID-19 put a halt on everyone’s plans.

We held HRME workshop Module 2 – The Employment Relationship and Employee Experience on May 19, 2022 at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre in Winnipeg.

Please find attached for your review registration form and workshop information for HRME: Module 3 – Indigenous Employee Effectiveness and Capacity Building to be held on July 14, 2022 at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre in Winnipeg. Space is limited to 40 participants.

We are fortunate to have Mr. Robin Henry as our facilitator for this workshop and other HRME workshops. Robin is of Tlingit and Vuntut Gwitch’in ancestry and a citizen of the Teslin Tlingit First Nation in the Yukon Territory. Robin not only brings his CPHR designation, BA in Social Sciences, and Chartered Director (C. Dir.) designation as well certification in Strategic HR Leadership from UBC Sauder School of Business and Leading People and Investing to Build Sustainable Communities from Harvard School of Business and over 20 years of experience in senior human resource management positions with Indigenous communities and Indigenous organizations that provides a relevant perspective.

NOTE: Attending HRME Module 3 is not contingent on having attended previous modules.

HRME workshop schedule:

HRME: Module 4 – Compensation and Workforce Analytics on September 15, 2022; and

HRME: Module 5 – Workplace Wellness on November 10, 2022.

We will send you an email with registration form and workshop information prior to each workshop for your review and consideration.
